I earned my Bachelor’s Degree during 1998-2002 at the School of Economic and Administrative Sciences from “Lower Danube” University of Galati, Romania.
My undergraduate studies were strongly influenced by my involvement in the Students’ League from Galati that I present at the section “Professional – The Students’ League from Galati.” My graduation thesis was also inspired by my extracurricular work that I did for this organization. The title was “Romania in the European Integration. Youth Policies.”
To me, the involvement in the Students’ League was like a second undergraduate program. I was doing basically a continuous internship that gave me an important professional experience. Although some classes of my undergraduate program were interesting, many other were not relevant to the economic and social environment of that time. Many core classes have been basically useless so far. I propose to name every class that I took in this section and tell how much they have helped me. I think this will be an interesting exercise after approximately 10 years since my graduation. On the other hand…education is free of charge in Romania.
